Warranty

Serverworlds covers a 30 day base warranty on all of our products.  Extended warranties are offered on some of our products.

 

Standard 30 Day Warranty Info:

 

  • The warranty period starts after the product has been delivered to the customers location or when a customer has picked up at Will-Call. 
  • Our warranty covers hardware only.
  • Our warranty includes free replacement shipping if a part is determined to be defective after troubleshooting.  Replacement products will be shipped out via the same shipping method that the customer originally shipped the core product.  However, Serverworlds will cover Fedex Stnd Overnight shipping for any replacement parts on a server/workstation/storage arrays that were purchased for over $1000.  We do require the comfirmation of serial number(s) prior to shipping out replacement parts.
  • All Good part/server/workstation returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.  If you order the incorrect product and choose to order the correct product from us the restocking fee will be waived.  However, you will still be responsible for any additional shipping charges.  Refurns must be requested within 30 days of placing your original order.
  • Serverworlds.com is not responsible for product failures caused by an act of god, building failure, Viruses/Worms/Malware, Data corruption, or Software Failure.
  • Serverworlds.com is not liable for any data loss.  *Back of your Data on a regular basis*
  • Serverworlds.com does not provide compensation for any down time caused by hardware/software failure.
  • Serverworlds.com does not provide on-site support.
  • After 30 days Serverworlds will provide replacement parts at discounted pricing as long as the customer is able to provide serial #'s and the original invoice #. 

 

(Optional) 90 Day or 1 Year Serverworlds (Server/Workstation/Storage) Warranty Upgrade:

 

*You must purchase a qualifying warranty on a supported Server/Workstation/Storage Product to qualify for this warranty*

 

  • The warranty period starts after the product has been delivered to the customers location or when a customer has picked up at Will-Call.
  • The warranty covers hardware only.  We do not provide software support.
  • In case of a hardware failure, Serverworlds will provide troubleshooting options to help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
  • Our warranty includes free shipping on replacement parts.  Replacement products will be shipped out via the same shipping method that the customer originally shipped the core product.  However, Serverworlds will cover overnight shipping for any replacement parts on a server/workstation/storage arrays that were purchased for over $1000.  We do require the comfirmation of serial number(s) prior to shipping out replacement parts.
  • We will provide a return shipping label for any defective items that need to be returned to Serverworlds.  The defective product(s) must be returned within 7 to 10 business days after the replacement part(s) has been recieved.  Failure to return the defective product(s) within in 7-10 business days will result in Serverworlds.com billing the customer market value for the part.
  • Serverworlds.com is not liable for any data loss due to hardware failures.  *Make sure to back up your data on a regular basis*
  • Serverworlds.com does not provide compensation for any down time caused by hardware/software failure.
  • Serverworlds.com does not provide on-site support.

Warranty Q & A:

 

Q: I purchased a part 3 Months ago with the standard 30 day warranty and never opened it.  Can I return the part?

A: No, the part is no longer covered under our 30 day warranty.

 

Q: I purchased a server and one of the hard drives has failed.  Will you overnight me a replacement for free?

A: As long as the part is still within our warranty we will issue a replacement part at zero cost to you.

We ship replacement parts via the same method that you original purchased.  If the purchase price of the server

was over $1000 we will provide overnight replacement parts.

 

Example: If you original shipped via ground service, the replacement part will be shipped ground.  If you paid

for upgraded shipping like  Overnight, 2 day, or 3 day service we will use that method for replacement parts.

Q: I purchased a part from serverworlds and need help locating a driver for it.  Can you help?

A: Yes, please email your sales rep and they will connect you with one of the technicians to help.

 

Q: I purchased a 1 year warranty with my server.  If my server server has a part failure within the warranty period will Serverworlds pay for a technician to replace a part for me?

A: No, Serverworlds does not provide onsite tech support.  We do provide email/phone support to help guide you through replacing parts.

 

Q: If I purchase a part and it doesn't resolve my issue can I return it?

A: Yes, however you will be subject to a 25% Restock fee plus return shipping costs.
