    Poweredge R815 2U Server

     

    The Poweredge R815 is a Dell 2U AMD Based Server.  It utilizes a 4 cpu socket system board

    that supports AMD 6100, 6200, 6300 Series Processors.  In addition to supporting 4

    processors the R815 supports up to 1TB of DDR3 1600Mhz ECC Registered memory.  The

    R815 also provides 6 PCIe I/O slots that allow you to install additional Network or HBA cards

    to plug in to direct attached storage devices or SAN's.

     

    The Refurbished Poweredge R815 is ideal for virtualization and high-perfomance

    computing solutions.  It allows for you to install up go 4 x 16 Core Processors while only

    taking up a 2U footprint in your server rack.  Having 32 memory slots makes the R815

    highly scalable because you can upgrade memory as you have budget available.  The optional

    Dual SD-Reader can also be very valuable for running Hypervisor.  Serverworlds.com has

    in house technicians that will completely tested your server prior to shipping.

    • Physicial Inspection:  We check for cosmetic issues or damage
    • Clean: We clean the internal components and external chassis
    • Update Bios/Firmware:  We update the Bios/Firmware on all the components in the system
    • Diagnostics: We run Dell Diagnostics on all the components
    • Professionally Package:  We custom foam our servers in double walled server boxes prior to shipping

    How quickly will the server ship after I order it?

    We typically ship within 1-2 business days after you place and order.  If you have a specific delivery date

    Does the Poweredge R815 Server support Solid State Drives?

    Yes, we recommend using MLC Dell Certified Dell Solid State Drives.  Please contact us directly for pricing.

     

    How do I access the Drac 6 Express Remote Access?

    If you choose to use the Drac 6 Express Remote Access you'll be able to access it through one of the

    4 x 10/100/1000 Embedded Network ports on the motherboard.

     

    If I order the Poweredge R815 w/o Hard Drives will it come populate with actual Hard Drive Trays or Blanks?

    If you purchase the system without drives it will come to you fully blanked out.  There will not be any Hard Drive trays included.
